Last year, in 2022, a thorough renovation of the former Transturist Hotel in Škofja Loka began. The original hotel opened in 1971 and operated until 2005. after the hotel closed, the building remained abandoned form many years. The new ownes had a desire to renovate the building and reopen the hotel. The building was quite run-down and in need of extensive repairs from the basement to the roof. A significant part of the renovation was carried out using KÖSTER products and materials. The newly renovated Hotel Lonca now proudly opens its doors to visitors.
